We’ve put together a list of comics currently active in the Indian circuit, because frankly, there’s nothing better to make your day brighter than to follow their lives on Instagram (or see when and where they’re performing next)
These categories do not classify how funny someone’s material is, they are purely basis the amount of experience that a person has gained in the field of stand-up comedy in India.

Amateur Comics range from first timers and the occasional hobbyist to the avid spot freak who’s hellbent on developing their 5 – 10 minutes of material early on, so as to be able to open for a professional comic.
This is a list of people who have been selected to perform at our Tuesday Open Mics. The 3 best performers get more stage time in the upcoming open mics to develop more material.
Professional Comics could be part time or full time in the scene and have developed anywhere between 20 minutes to over an hour. They’re looking at putting up videos on youtube or already have put multiple videos and have an active Youtube Channel.
They also have performed for corporate/social events, collaborate with other comics for podcasts/vlogs/other media and most importantly – are currently planning or have gone on domestic multi city tour of their one hour special.
From releasing their one hour special on various multimedia platforms and performing at international Comedy Festivals (like the Melbourne International Comedy Festival/ The Fringe Festival at Edinburgh) to going on an international multi city tour of their own one hour special.
